It’s the Nativity Fast, and one way the Fellowship gets ready for the feast is the now regular concert by the Mosaic Choir. This year we visit the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of St Andrew in Kentish Town, London, NW1 9QA on Friday 16 December at 7:30pm. Come along and celebrate Christmas in many different traditions, with carols from across Europe and beyond: Greece, Romania, Serbia, Poland, Canada and the United Kingdom! Free entry with a retiring collection. You can tell us that you’re coming , and download it to your calendar with our Facebook Event
And St Andrew blesses us again in January, with the Fellowship’s first visit to Scotland for the annual Study Weekend on Holiness in the Bible, hosted by the Orthodox Church of St Andrew. It’s just £40 (£20 for students), excluding accommodation and travel, but including meals and a bus tour of the city. There will also be an opportunity to venerate the relics of St Andrew. Find this event on Facebook.
So, in this time when commercialisation of Christmas is everywhere, make time for two events for your spiritual health! Wishing you a blessed fast and a joyful feast!
